~Bowenwork~Personal Training~Assisted Stretching~
How it all started...
see video below
The method was developed by Thomas Ambrose Bowen (1916-1982) from Australia. He was a gifted healer that had hundreds of people seeking him out. He became interested in ways to alleviate human suffering and began to notice that certain moves on the body had particular effects. He had no formal training in any modality or discipline.
Bowen healing is now practiced world wide. Tom's work is still being studied today.
The American Bowen Academy is recognized by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, American Occupational Therapy Association, California Board of Registered Nurses and Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine. Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire has introduced Bowen in their physical therapy group.

Holly Halloran- Professional Bowenwork Practitioner since 2010
The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia (Bowtech the Original Bowen Technique)
As a student of ballet and former USA Gymnastics Coach, Certified Assisted Stretching and Flexibility Coach (NASM) and a respiratory therapist for 30 years- I understand breath and breathing in so many ways. From being in the delivery room helping babies take their first breath of life and helping patients with all forms of breathing struggles I have been there to support them with care and comfort. Being an athletic coach I've seen and experienced wins and loses. As a dancer and dabbling in yoga, I have felt breathing in such beautiful ways. As an asthmatic, I can say I know what it's like not being able to breathe.
it's fitting that I am a Libra which is associated with the element Air
A Bowen session with me is very relaxing and you will surely notice throughout your days following your treatment as well as addressing the issues you are coming to start a healing process whether it's resolved within a few sessions or a maintenance plan is recommended you will truly enjoy your Bowen time
